Francisco Miguel Narváez Machón (born on April 26, 1972), known as Kiko, is a Spanish former professional footballer. He played most of his career as a centre forward for Atlético Madrid.
Kiko was known for his amazing technical skills and how well he could see the whole field during a game. Even though he was almost 1.90 meters tall, he wasn't very good at heading the ball. He played for ten seasons in La Liga, Spain's top football league. He also spent one year in the Segunda División, which is the second division. In total, he played 271 games and scored 60 goals in these leagues.
Kiko was part of the Spanish national team that won the gold medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. This was a huge win for Spain on their home ground. He also played for the main national team in one World Cup and one European Championship.

Playing for Clubs
Starting at Cádiz
Kiko was born in Jerez de la Frontera, a city in Spain. He started his football journey with his local team, Cádiz CF. His first game in La Liga was on April 14, 1991. Cádiz lost that home game 2–3 against Athletic Bilbao.
Even though he only played a few more matches that season, Kiko made a big impact. In one game on June 9, he came on as a substitute and played for just 25 minutes. During that time, he won a penalty kick and then scored the winning goal in the 83rd minute. Cádiz won 2–1 against Real Zaragoza. This win helped his team stay in the top league after a special playoff.
Moving to Atlético Madrid
After two more seasons as a key player for Cádiz, Kiko moved to Atlético Madrid in 1993. His teammate, José María Quevedo, also joined him. This move happened after Cádiz was relegated from La Liga in 1993.
At Atlético Madrid, Kiko became one of Spain's most important footballers in the 1990s. He was a vital part of the team that achieved a historic "double" in the 1995–96 season. This means they won both the league title (La Liga) and the Spanish Cup (Copa del Rey) in the same year. Kiko helped the team with many goals and assists.
In 2000, Atlético Madrid was relegated from La Liga. However, Kiko chose to stay with the club for another season in the Segunda División. He played 32 league games that year but didn't score any goals. He finished his career with a short five-month period at CF Extremadura in 2002, also in the Segunda División. There, he played alongside another experienced player, Pier.
Playing for Spain
Kiko played 26 times for the Spanish national team and scored four goals. His first game for Spain was on December 16, 1992. It was a 1994 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Latvia, and Kiko played the entire game.
He represented Spain in two major tournaments: UEFA Euro 1996 and the 1998 World Cup. In the 1998 World Cup, he scored a goal against Bulgaria in a big 6–1 win. However, Spain was still knocked out of the tournament in the group stage.
Before playing for the senior national team, Kiko also played for Spain at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. He scored a last-minute winning goal against Poland in the final match. Spain won that game 3–2, and Kiko scored two goals in the final.
