Kim Dae-Eui (Korean: 김대의; born May 30, 1974) is a famous South Korean football player. He played as a forward or winger. After a successful playing career, he became a football manager.

Kim Dae-Eui's Early Football Journey
Kim Dae-Eui started his professional football career at Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma. This was a big step for him. He quickly showed how talented he was on the field.
Before joining Seongnam, he played for younger national teams. He was part of the South Korea Under-20 team in 1992. He also played for the Universiade team in 1997.
Becoming a Star Player
While playing for Seongnam, Kim Dae-Eui became a true star. In the 2002 season of the K-League, he won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award. This award goes to the best player in the league. It showed how important he was to his team.
In 2004, he moved to another strong Korean club, Suwon Samsung Bluewings. He helped them win the Korean championship in the very same year. This was a huge achievement for the team and for him.
Joining the 30-30 Club
Kim Dae-Eui is a member of the special 30-30 Club. He joined this group on June 16, 2007. To be in this club, a player must score at least 30 goals and make at least 30 assists in the K-League. It shows he was great at both scoring and helping his teammates score.
He is also good friends with fellow footballer Choi Sung-Yong. They played together on the national team and at the Suwon Bluewings club.
Playing for His Country
Kim Dae-Eui also represented South Korea on the international stage. He played for the South Korea national team from 1997 to 2004. During this time, he played 13 matches and scored 3 goals for his country.
His goals helped South Korea in important matches. For example, he scored in the 2004 AFC Asian Cup qualification games.
Life After Playing: Becoming a Manager
After his playing days, Kim Dae-Eui decided to stay in football as a coach and manager. He started as a playing coach for Suwon Bluewings in 2010.
He has coached different teams, including Home United and Korea University. From 2017 to 2019, he was the manager for Suwon FC. He has also worked as an assistant manager for Chengdu Rongcheng in China.
Currently, since 2024, he is the manager for Suzhou Dongwu. Kim Dae-Eui continues to share his knowledge and passion for football with new generations of players.
