Klaus Fichtel's Football Journey
Klaus Fichtel was born in a place called Castrop-Rauxel in Germany. He started his football career with the club FC Schalke 04. After playing there for many years, he moved to SV Werder Bremen for four years. Then, he returned to Schalke 04 to finish his career.
Playing in the Bundesliga
Klaus Fichtel played a huge number of games in Germany's top football league, the Bundesliga. He played 552 matches in total and scored 14 goals. He also played 42 times in the second division, called the 2. Bundesliga, during his time with Werder Bremen.
