Kristian Doolittle's High School Basketball Journey

Kristian Doolittle played basketball at Edmond Memorial High School in Edmond, Oklahoma. In his first year, he teamed up with Jordan Woodard, who would also become his college teammate. They won the Class 6A state championship together.

As a sophomore, Kristian showed his skills, averaging 14.6 points and 8.3 rebounds per game. In his junior year, he improved even more, scoring 17.5 points and grabbing 12 rebounds per game. This was the highest rebound average in Class 6A. His great play earned him several awards, including first-team all-conference honors.

During his senior year, Kristian averaged 24 points, 13 rebounds, and five assists per game. He led his team to the Class 6A state quarterfinals. He was also named to the USA Today All-USA Oklahoma first team. Kristian finished his high school career as his school's all-time leader in points, rebounds, and games played. He was considered a top player in Oklahoma for the 2016 class.

College Career at Oklahoma University

Kristian Doolittle started his college basketball career with the Oklahoma Sooners. As a freshman, he played in 31 games and started 25 of them. He averaged 9.1 points and 6.2 rebounds per game.

In his sophomore year, Kristian faced a challenge when he was suspended for the first semester due to an academic issue. He returned to average 2.9 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.

His junior season was a big step forward. Kristian was named to the Third Team All-Big 12 and also earned the Big 12 Most Improved Player award. He averaged 11.3 points and 7.1 rebounds per game.

Before his senior season, Kristian was suspended for the first game by the NCAA. This was because he played in a summer league game that was not officially approved. Despite this, he had an amazing senior year.

On November 18, 2019, he was named Big 12 Player of the Week. He scored 19 points, had a career-high 16 rebounds, and made four assists in a win against Oregon State. He earned this award again on December 23 after scoring 21 points and grabbing 15 rebounds against Creighton.

Kristian reached a major milestone on February 1, 2020, scoring his 1,000th college point in a win over Oklahoma State. He received his third Big 12 Player of the Week award on February 17. This was after strong performances against Iowa State and Kansas.

At the end of his senior season, Kristian was named to the First Team All-Big 12. He averaged 15.8 points and 8.9 rebounds per game. He also achieved 10 "double-doubles" (scoring double digits in two categories, like points and rebounds).
