Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ (born October 27, 1983) is a famous Turkish actor and model. He was also a basketball player before becoming an actor. He has won many awards for his acting, including four Golden Butterfly Awards for Best Actor. He also won the "Best Model of Turkey" and "Best Model of the World" contests in 2002.

Early Life and Family

Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ was born on October 27, 1983, in Adana, Turkey. His parents are Erdem and Nurten Tatlıtuğ. His mother is Turkish, and his grandparents on his father's side are from Albania and Bosnia. He grew up in Adana, where his family had a bakery business for over 100 years.

He went to Yenice Çağ Private High School and was very good at basketball. His family moved to Istanbul because his father needed medical treatment. In Istanbul, he played professional basketball for several clubs. However, he had to stop playing due to a leg injury. He finished his studies at Istanbul Kultur University in 2013.

Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ married stylist Başak Dizer on February 19, 2016, in Paris. Their son, Kurt Efe, was born in April 2022. There is also a sculpture of Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ at Madame Tussauds Istanbul.
