What is the LDV Maxus?
The LDV Maxus is a light commercial vehicle. This means it's used for businesses, like delivering goods or carrying groups of people. It came in different versions, including panel vans and minibuses.
Different Names for the Maxus
The LDV Maxus was known by several names around the world. In Turkey, it was called the Fargo Fora. When sold in Australia, it was known as the LDV V80. In Russia, people called it the Maxus LD100. And in Malaysia, it went by the name Weststar LDV Maxus.
The Maxus Relaunch
After 2009, the original production stopped. However, in 2011, a Chinese company named Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC) brought the vehicle back. They launched a new version called the Maxus V80. This new model looked almost exactly like the original LDV Maxus. SAIC officially relaunched the Maxus V80 in June 2011.
