The La Raya mountain range is a group of mountains in the Andes of Peru. Its name comes from Spanish and means the line, the limits, or the border. This mountain range stretches for about 10 kilometers (6 miles).
It is located in both the Cusco Region and the Puno Region of Peru. You can find it northwest of the Peruvian Altiplano and Lake Titicaca. It is also very close to the La Raya pass, a high mountain pass.

The La Raya mountain range has many tall peaks. One of the highest is Chimpulla, which stands at 5,489 meters (18,008 feet) high.
