Where is Lake City Located?
Lake City is found in the northwestern part of Moultrie County. A road called Illinois Route 32 runs along its northeast side. This road is important for getting around.
Traveling to Nearby Towns
If you drive southeast on Illinois Route 32, you'll reach Lovington in about 5.5 miles. The county seat, Sullivan, is about 15 miles away in the same direction. If you head north on Route 32, you'll find U.S. Route 36 at La Place after about 2.5 miles. The larger city of Decatur is about 16 miles northwest of Lake City.
