Lake Erie Beach is a small community in Erie County, New York, United States. It's known as a "hamlet" and a "census-designated place" (CDP). A hamlet is a small settlement, and a CDP is a place defined by the U.S. Census Bureau for statistical purposes.
In 2010, about 3,872 people lived here. Lake Erie Beach is part of the larger Buffalo–Niagara Falls metropolitan area. It is located southwest of the village of Angola.
Where is Lake Erie Beach?
Lake Erie Beach is found at coordinates 42°37′25″N 79°4′54″W. It sits between NY Route 5 and the beautiful shore of Lake Erie. The community is also located northeast of Evangola State Park, a popular spot for outdoor activities.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the entire area of the CDP is about 3.8 square miles (9.9 square kilometers), and all of it is land.
