Lake Lawtonka is a beautiful lake located in Comanche County, Oklahoma in the state of Oklahoma, United States. It is a man-made lake, also known as a reservoir.
The lake covers an area of about 2 square miles (5 square kilometers). It was created by building a dam across Medicine Bluff Creek. This dam is 60 feet (18 meters) tall and 375 feet (114 meters) long. Lake Lawtonka is very important because it provides drinking water for the nearby city of Lawton, Oklahoma and Fort Sill.
