Where is Larkin Township?
Larkin Township is in the eastern part of Midland County. To its south is the city of Midland, which is the main city of the county. To the east, it shares a border with Bay County.
The township covers a total area of about 32 square miles (83 square kilometers). Most of this area is land, about 32 square miles (82.8 square kilometers). A very small part, about 0.06 square miles (0.16 square kilometers), is water.
Rivers and Waterways
Water flows through Larkin Township in different directions. On the west side, Sturgeon Creek flows south. This creek eventually joins the Tittabawassee River, which is part of the larger Saginaw River system. On the east side, smaller streams flow into the Kawkawlin River. The Kawkawlin River then flows east into Lake Huron.
