Larry King Live was a very popular American television talk show. It was hosted by the famous interviewer Larry King on the CNN news channel. The show ran for a long time, from 1985 to 2010. It became CNN's most watched and longest-running program. More than one million people watched it every night!

Larry King Live was a show where Larry King would interview important people. These guests were often celebrities, politicians, or successful businesspeople. He would talk to them about their lives, their work, and current events. The show lasted for one hour each night. It was shown three times a day in some places. People all over the world could watch it on CNN International.
Where Was the Show Filmed?
The show was mainly filmed in CNN's studios in Los Angeles. But sometimes, it was broadcast from other big cities. These included Atlanta, New York City, or Washington, D.C.. Larry King was already well-known in Washington, D.C. He had become famous there for his radio interviews on Larry King Show. That show was on the Mutual Broadcasting System.
The End of an Era
On June 29, 2010, Larry King announced that his show would be ending. The very last regular episode aired on December 16, 2010. However, a special episode about the fight against cancer was shown two days later.
After Larry King Live ended, another talk show took its place. This new show was called Piers Morgan Tonight. It was hosted by a British journalist named Piers Morgan. It started airing on January 17, 2011. Later, in 2013, its name changed to Piers Morgan Live. That show ran its last episode on March 28, 2014.
