Lateef Crowder dos Santos, born on November 23, 1977, is a talented actor, martial artist, and stuntman. He is from both Brazil and America. Since 2000, he has been part of the ZeroGravity stunt team. He has appeared in many online videos and demo reels, like Inmate 451. Lateef is very skilled in capoeira, a Brazilian martial art. He started learning martial arts when he was just 6 years old.

About Lateef Crowder
Early Life and Training
Lateef Crowder was born in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. When he was four, his family moved to San Jose, California. His father and gymnasts taught him Capoeira. This helped him become very experienced and skilled. He became an international competitor in Capoeira.
Joining the Stunt World
Lateef joined the Zero Gravity Stunt Team. He is no longer an active member of this team. Since then, Lateef has focused on his acting career. He has appeared in several movies. For example, he was in The Protector (2005) with Tony Jaa. He also worked with Scott Adkins in Undisputed 3, playing Rodrigo Silva.

Famous Fight Scenes
Lateef dos Santos is well-known for his role in the movie Tom-Yum-Goong. This movie is called The Protector in North America. He used his amazing Capoeira skills in a fight scene with Tony Jaa. The scene was cut short because Lateef got an injury. However, he recovered and later appeared in Duel of Legends in 2007.
Playing Eddy Gordo
Because of his Capoeira skills and his look, Lateef Crowder played Eddy Gordo. This character is from the Tekken movie. He also appeared in Undisputed 3 with Scott Adkins. Lateef was also in the short film Mortal Kombat: Rebirth, directed by Kevin Tancharoen. Another cool thing Lateef did was on a show called Fight Science. He showed how effective his kicks were in different tests.
Stunt Work for The Mandalorian
From 2019 to 2023, Lateef worked on the Disney+ show The Mandalorian. He was the stunt double for Din Djarin / The Mandalorian. This means he performed the dangerous actions for the main character. For his excellent work, he won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Stunt Performance in 2022. This was at the 73rd Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
