LeRoy Irvin, born on September 15, 1957, is a former American football player. He played as a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). Most of his career was with the Los Angeles Rams from 1980 to 1989. He was chosen for the Pro Bowl in 1986 and 1987. LeRoy Irvin holds an NFL record for the most punt return yards in one game (207 yards). He set this record against the Atlanta Falcons in 1981. He is also one of the few NFL players to be named All-Pro in two different positions.
Irvin was born in Fort Dix, New Jersey. He went to high school at Glenn Hills High School in Augusta, Georgia. He started playing college football in 1976 at the University of Kansas.

He also started a company called Original Mini's, Inc. with other former Rams teammates and friends. This company has an NFL license and sells official NFL products.
Public Appearances
In 1986, LeRoy Irvin appeared in a promotional video for the Los Angeles Rams called Let's Ram It. In the video, he gave himself the nickname "Iceman." He also famously stated that "interceptions were his game," showing his confidence in his defensive skills.

LeRoy Irvin is a father of four children. Their names are Leroy III, Charles, Sarah, and Julius. He currently lives in Anaheim Hills, California.
