Leeds Bradford International Airport is a busy airport in West Yorkshire, England. It is found in Yeadon, which is part of Leeds, and is also near the city of Bradford. A company called Bridgepoint Capital bought the airport in 2007.
The airport offers flights to many different cities. These include places like London, Edinburgh, Dublin, Paris, Amsterdam, and Rome. It is used by many people for both holiday trips and business travel. About 3 million passengers use this airport every year. The number of people flying from here keeps growing.

The airline Jet2.com has its main base at Leeds Bradford Airport. In 2009, another airline, Ryanair, announced they would also open a base here. This meant Ryanair would greatly increase the number of flights they offered from the airport.
