Lengby (pronounced lang - bee) is a small city in Polk County, Minnesota, United States. It is located in the northwestern part of the state. Lengby is also part of a larger area that includes Grand Forks, North Dakota. In 2020, about 92 people lived in Lengby.

History of Lengby
Lengby has been around for a while. A post office opened here in 1898, helping people send and receive mail. The city also had a train station, which was important for travel and moving goods.
A Remarkable Survival Story
In 1980, something very unusual happened in Lengby. A woman named Jean Hilliard survived being frozen for six hours in extremely cold weather. Her amazing story of survival was later featured on the TV show Unsolved Mysteries.
