Leonard Earl Howze (born April 26, 1977) is an American actor. He is known for his roles in movies and TV shows. One of his most famous roles is playing Dinka in the first two Barbershop movies. He has also appeared in other popular shows like Kevin Can Wait.

Leonard Earl Howze was born in Los Angeles, California, on April 26, 1977. He went to the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, where he graduated in 1995. After high school, he studied acting at the State University of New York at Purchase. He earned a special degree called a Bachelor of Fine Arts to help him start his acting career.
Early Roles and Big Breaks
Leonard Earl Howze made his first big appearance in the 2002 movie Barbershop. In this film, he played a character named Dinka. Dinka was a friendly immigrant from Africa who worked in the barbershop. He tried to impress his co-worker, Terri, who was played by the singer and actress Eve. This role helped him become well-known.
He continued his role as Dinka in the sequel, Barbershop 2: Back in Business, which came out in 2004. He also appeared in the movie Antwone Fisher in 2002.

In the 2010s, Leonard Earl Howze kept getting roles in many films and television shows. He was in the 2012 movie A Thousand Words with Eddie Murphy. He also played a character named Homer in the 2013 film The Lone Ranger.
