Religion in Leonville

In the past, during a time called segregation, people of different races went to separate churches. White people went to St. Leo's, Black people went to St. Catherine's, and people of mixed race went to St. Jules. Since 2005, one priest has been in charge of all three churches. This has helped people of different backgrounds worship together more often.
There is also a Southern Baptist church just outside the town. The town's cemetery is next to Saint Leo's church.
