Lee Yuan-tsu (born September 24, 1923 – died March 8, 2017) was an important politician from China. He served as the eighth Vice President of the Republic of China, which is the official name for Taiwan. He worked alongside President Lee Teng-hui. Lee Yuan-tsu was from the Hakka people, a group of Chinese people. He was born in Pingjiang, in the Hunan region.
