Lisa Gaye Curry (born May 15, 1962) is a famous Australian swimmer. She was also known as Lisa Curry-Kenny after she got married.
Lisa won many medals at the Commonwealth Games. She earned seven gold, two silver, and one bronze medal. She is the only Australian swimmer to hold national records in almost every swimming style. From 2000 to 2008, Lisa was in charge of the National Australia Day Council.

Swimming Achievements
Lisa Curry showed amazing swimming talent when she was very young. By age 12, she was one of the fastest swimmers in the world for her age group. She was part of the Australian Institute of Sport. She won 15 national swimming titles.
Representing Australia
From 1977 to 1992, Lisa swam for Australia 16 times. She competed in three Olympic Games: 1980, 1984, and 1992. She also took part in the World Championships in 1978 and 1982.
Commonwealth Games Medals
Lisa won many medals at the Commonwealth Games. These games are like a mini-Olympics for countries that were once part of the British Empire.
- At the 1978 Games in Edmonton, she won a silver medal. This was for the 4×100-metre medley relay race.
- At the 1982 Games in Brisbane, she won three gold medals. These were for the 100-metre butterfly, 200-metre individual medley, and 400-metre individual medley. She also won a bronze medal in the 100-metre freestyle.

After she stopped competitive swimming, Lisa tried other water sports. She competed in surf boat rowing. She also took part in outrigger canoe events. Her team won the World Championship Outrigger Canoe event in 1997.

Lisa Curry has received many special awards for her achievements.
- In 1982, she was named a Member of the Order of the British Empire. This award recognized her great service to swimming.

- She co-owns the Curry Kenny Aviation Group with her former husband, Grant Kenny. This company owned many aircraft in 2009.
- Lisa also works with naturopath Jeff Butterworth in a company called Happy Healthy YOU. This company sells health products like Happy Hormones, Happy Greens, and Happy Turmeric. Happy Healthy YOU started in Australia in 2015. It helps women with hormonal conditions.
Personal Life
Lisa Curry married Grant Kenny in 1986. Grant was also a famous Australian athlete. He was an ironman surf lifesaver and an Olympic bronze medallist. Lisa and Grant had three children: Jaimi Lee, Morgan, and Jett. They separated in 2009. Sadly, their daughter Jaimi Lee passed away in 2020.
In 2008, Lisa had heart surgery. Doctors implanted a device called a defibrillator. This was because she had an irregular heartbeat caused by a viral infection.
In 2016, Lisa announced her engagement to entertainer Mark Andrew Tabone. They got married in May 2018.
