Meet the Crew of the USS Enterprise!
The USS Enterprise is a famous starship on a mission to explore the galaxy. Its crew faced many challenges and discovered incredible things. The show first introduced us to a pilot episode called "The Cage". In this episode, the ship was commanded by Jeffrey Hunter as Captain Pike. His first officer was Majel Barrett as Number One, and Leonard Nimoy played the science officer, Spock. Other crew members included Peter Duryea as navigator José Tyler, Laurel Goodwin as yeoman J. M. Colt, and John Hoyt as chief medical officer Phillip Boyce.
Later, when the series officially began, a new captain took the helm!
