List of mayors of Montreal facts for kids
Montreal is a big city in Quebec, Canada. Just like a school has a principal, a city has a mayor! The mayor is the main leader of the city. They help make important decisions about how the city runs, like building parks, managing public transport, and keeping everyone safe.
This page lists all the people who have been the mayor of Montreal since the city officially started in 1832. When you see "Independent" next to a mayor's name, it means they didn't belong to a specific political group or party.
