The NFL championships are a big deal in American football! They include two main parts: the original NFL Championship games, which happened from 1920 to 1969, and the Super Bowl, which started in 1966 and is still played today. Many amazing players and teams have won these championships multiple times. The Green Bay Packers were especially dominant between 1960 and 1967, winning three NFL championships and the first two Super Bowls!

Players with the Most Wins
Some players have won an incredible number of championships throughout NFL history. Let's look at who has won the most!
Seven Championships
- Tom Brady (quarterback) is the player with the most championships. He won six Super Bowls with the New England Patriots: Super Bowl XXXVI (2001 season), XXXVIII (2003), XXXIX (2004), XLIX (2014), LI (2016), and LIII (2018). He then won another Super Bowl, LV (2020 season), with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. That's a total of seven Super Bowl wins!
Six Championships
Three players have won six championships. To count these, we look at NFL championships from 1920 to 1965 and Super Bowls from 1966 onwards. This avoids counting the same championship twice if it happened between 1966 and 1969.
- Fuzzy Thurston (offensive lineman) won NFL championships with the Baltimore Colts in 1958 and with the Green Bay Packers in 1961, 1962, and 1965. He also won Super Bowls I and II with the Packers after the 1966 and 1967 seasons.
- Forrest Gregg (offensive lineman) won NFL championships with the Green Bay Packers in 1961, 1962, and 1965. He won Super Bowls I and II with the Packers (1966 and 1967 seasons) and Super Bowl VI with the Dallas Cowboys (1971 season).
- Herb Adderley (defensive back) also won NFL championships with the Green Bay Packers in 1961, 1962, and 1965. He won Super Bowls I and II with the Packers (1966 and 1967 seasons) and Super Bowl VI with the Dallas Cowboys (1971 season).
Five Championships
Thirteen players have won five championships. Most of these players were part of the amazing Green Bay Packers teams from the 1960s. The only exception is Charles Haley.
