The Pokémon TV show is a super popular Japanese cartoon. It's based on the fun Pokémon video games made by Nintendo. The Pokémon anime first aired in Japan on April 1, 1997. Since then, there have been over 1,200 episodes! That's a lot of adventures with Ash, Pikachu, and their friends. Sometimes, for different reasons, some episodes have been changed, not shown, or even completely removed in certain countries.
