Elizabeth Shaila Koshy (born March 31, 1996) is an American YouTuber and actress. She is known for her funny videos and acting roles. Her main YouTube channel has nearly 17 million subscribers. Both of her channels together have over 3 billion views. She has won many awards, including four Streamy Awards and four Teen Choice Awards. She also won a Kids' Choice Award.

Liza Koshy started her career on a short video app called Vine in 2013. Later, she began her own YouTube channel. She started acting in movies and TV shows in 2016. She was in the horror-comedy film Boo! A Madea Halloween. She also starred in the TV series Freakish and Escape the Night. From 2017 to 2018, she was a reporter for the MTV show Total Request Live.

Elizabeth Shaila Koshy was born in Houston, Texas, on March 31, 1996. Her mother, Jean Carol, was a yoga instructor. Her father, Jose Koshy, was a petroleum executive from India. Liza has two older sisters. When she was younger, she learned to speak Spanish in a special school program.

After finishing Lamar High School in 2014, Liza went to the University of Houston. She studied business marketing. In 2015, she decided to leave college. She moved to Los Angeles to focus on her career in media and entertainment.
