Lockyer National Park is a special natural area in South East Queensland, Australia. It is located north of the Lockyer Valley Region. This park is known for its beautiful landscape. It has many hills at the base of the Great Dividing Range. You can also find amazing sandstone gorges and thick eucalypt forests here.

The park is made up of four separate parts. Three important creeks flow through the park. These are Alice Creek, Redbank Creek, and Fifteen Mile Creek. They all flow into Lockyer Creek. The park covers a huge area of 11,079 hectares. Another 7,790 hectares are set aside for nature to recover and grow stronger.

Lockyer National Park is home to many unique plants and animals. You might spot the helidon ironbark tree or the mountain guinea flower. Keep an eye out for animals like the brush-tailed rock-wallaby. You might also see the rare black-breasted buttonquail.
