Logan Guleff was born on July 23, 2002. He is a talented chef, a TV star, and a cookbook author. Logan also owns a special restaurant called Logan's Underground Supper Club. In 2014, he won the second season of the American cooking show MasterChef Junior. Two years later, in 2016, Time Magazine named Logan one of the "30 Most Influential Teens." They called him a "rising star in the culinary world."

Logan's Early Cooking Adventures
Logan started cooking when he was only three years old. When he was nine, he entered a sandwich contest. His recipe for the "Jif Most Creative Sandwich" won him a spot on the Today show on NBC.
Logan shared, "I went on TV a bunch with my recipe and it was really fun." He was a bit sad he didn't win the top prize. So, his mom told him to try another contest. He entered the Epicurious Healthy Challenge and won a trip!
Winning MasterChef Junior
On December 16, 2014, Logan won the second season of MasterChef Junior. This was a huge achievement for the young chef.
For his winning meal, Logan cooked three amazing dishes. His first dish was an appetizer: saffron spot prawns with olive tapenade and smoked aioli. For the main course, he made salt-crusted branzino. And for dessert, he created Meyer lemon madeleines with goat cheese mousse and a berry compote.
Logan has returned to MasterChef Junior several times. He was a cupcake judge in Season 4. He appeared in a show clip in Season 5. And he was a guest in Season 6.
Awards and Special Recognition
Logan has won many cooking awards and honors. One competition even took him to the White House. There, he met President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. This happened in 2012 at the Epicurious Kid's State Dinner Healthy Lunch Challenge.
In 2013, Logan made history. He became the first and only child to complete the training to be a certified judge. This training was given by the Memphis World Championship BBQ committee. In 2015, at age 12, he became the youngest certified judge at the World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest. He also judged the International Young Chef Olympiad in India in 2017.
In 2015, Logan was a finalist for a Shorty Awards. This award recognizes people who create great short online content. He was nominated in the FOOD category for his social media work. That same year, he was a presenter at the Reality Television Awards in Hollywood. MasterChef Junior also won "Best New Cast" at the awards.
In the summer of 2015, Logan became a spokesperson. He joined the "Get Kids Cooking" campaign in Canada.
In 2016, Southern Living Magazine called Logan the "Next Great Southern Cook in America." Forbes magazine also named him one of the Young Innovators Who Are Changing the World. He also won the James Beard Foundation 2016 Blended Burger Project™.
When he was 14, Logan partnered with a meal delivery service called Chef'd. This deal allowed him to share some of his dishes. One of them was his winning James Beard Sustainable Mushroom Monster Burger in 2017.
In 2018, Logan's cookbook, "Cooking Dreams," won the Gourmand World Cookbook Award for the Best New Cookbook in the US. In May 2018, the book was named "The Best in The World First Cookbook" in Yantai, China. He was also chosen as a TEDx speaker. His speech was about "The Art of The Flavor."
In 2021, Logan became the first chef to offer an NFT virtual dining experience. This was a new way for people to enjoy his cooking.
