Logan Alexander Paul (born April 1, 1995) is a famous American influencer, professional wrestler, and actor. He is well-known for his videos on YouTube, where his main channel, Logan Paul Vlogs, has over 23 million subscribers. He has even been listed by Forbes as one of the highest-paid YouTube creators.
Logan is also a co-founder of the popular drink company Prime. He hosts a podcast called Impaulsive, which has millions of listeners. Since June 2022, he has also been a professional wrestler for WWE, where he performs part-time and has even won the WWE United States Championship.
Logan first became popular in 2013 by sharing funny videos on an app called Vine. After Vine closed, he started posting videos regularly on his YouTube channel, TheOfficialLoganPaul. In 2015, he created Logan Paul Vlogs, which quickly became his most popular channel. By August 2023, this channel had nearly 6 billion views!
As an actor, Logan has appeared in TV shows like Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Bizaardvark. He also starred in movies such as The Thinning (2016) and The Thinning: New World Order (2018). Besides acting, he has released music and participated in boxing matches. He fought fellow YouTuber KSI twice, with their second fight being a professional boxing match. Early Life and School
Logan Alexander Paul was born in Westlake, Ohio, on April 1, 1995. His parents are Pamela Stepnick and Gregory Paul. He grew up in Westlake with his younger brother, Jake Paul, who is also a well-known online personality. Logan started making videos for a YouTube channel when he was just 10 years old.
He went to Westlake High School. There, he was a talented football player and also competed in state-level wrestling championships.
YouTube Journey
Starting on Vine and YouTube (2015–2017)
When Logan started college at Ohio University, his YouTube channel was already gaining some fans. He studied industrial engineering but decided to leave college in 2014. He moved to Los Angeles to become a full-time social media entertainer. He lived in an apartment complex with other popular Vine stars.
Logan became very famous on Vine, a video-sharing app. By February 2014, he had over 3.1 million followers across different social media sites. His YouTube videos, which were compilations of his Vine work, got millions of views in just one week. In 2015, he was ranked among the top influencers on Vine. His short videos earned him a lot of money from ads. By October of that year, his Facebook videos alone had more than 300 million views. Logan calls his fans the "Logang," which is a mix of "Logan" and "gang."
In early 2015, Logan appeared on the TV show Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He also had roles in the TV series Weird Loners and Stitchers. In 2016, he starred in the YouTube Red movie The Thinning with Peyton List. Logan also took acting classes to improve his skills.
He wrote a movie script for a comedy called Airplane Mode, which was released in 2019. Logan also worked on many advertising campaigns for big brands like Hanes and PepsiCo. In 2016, Comcast bought a short digital TV series from Logan called Logan Paul VS.
In February 2017, actor Dwayne Johnson made a funny YouTube video where he pretended to cut Logan from all his movies. As a joke, he then made Logan an "ambassador" for his movie Baywatch. In November 2017, Logan released a song called "No Handlebars," which received a lot of criticism.
Boxing Career
Logan Paul vs. KSI
On February 3, 2018, after a boxing match, British YouTuber KSI challenged Logan Paul to a fight. On February 24, 2018, it was announced that Logan and his brother, Jake, would fight KSI and his brother, Deji, in two amateur boxing matches. Logan's fight against KSI ended in a draw, meaning neither person won.
Logan Paul vs. KSI II
On September 4, 2019, it was announced that Logan would have a professional boxing rematch against KSI. This fight was shown live on DAZN in the United States. The match took place on November 9 at the Staples Center.
The rematch had six three-minute rounds. KSI won the fight by a split decision, which means two judges thought KSI won, and one judge thought Logan won.
Exhibition Fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr.
On December 6, 2020, it was announced that Logan Paul would fight the famous boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. in an exhibition match. An exhibition match is usually for show and doesn't count on a boxer's official record. The fight happened on June 6, 2021, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
The fight went for the full eight rounds, but no winner was announced. Mayweather landed more punches, showing his boxing skill. After the fight, Mayweather praised Logan, saying he was "better than I thought." Logan wondered if Mayweather had held back during the fight. Mayweather later confirmed he did, saying it would have been a quick win if it were a "real fight."
Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis
On July 28, 2023, it was announced that Logan Paul would fight American mixed martial artist Dillon Danis. This fight was part of a big event called MF & DAZN: X Series 10 – The Prime Card, which took place on October 14 in Manchester, England.
The fight ended in the sixth round when Danis tried an illegal move. Security entered the ring, and a small fight broke out. Danis was disqualified, and Logan Paul was declared the winner.
Professional Wrestling Career
WWE (2021–present)
United States Champion (2023–2024)
After his boxing win against Dillon Danis on October 14, 2023, Logan Paul challenged the WWE United States Champion, Rey Mysterio. On October 20, 2023, Mysterio accepted the challenge for a title match at an event called Crown Jewel. At Crown Jewel on November 4, Logan Paul won the United States Championship. He used brass knuckles during the match to help him win his first WWE championship.
Logan first appeared as champion on December 1, where he announced a tournament to find his first challenger. Kevin Owens won the tournament. At the Royal Rumble on January 27, 2024, Logan kept his title by disqualification. He was later eliminated from the Elimination Chamber match at Elimination Chamber: Perth but interfered to cost Randy Orton the match. At WrestleMania XL, Logan successfully defended his United States Championship against Randy Orton and Kevin Owens in a three-way match.
On May 10, Logan was announced as the next opponent for the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. Their match at King and Queen of the Ring was only for Rhodes' title. Logan failed to win the title from Rhodes at the event. On August 3, at SummerSlam, Logan lost the US title to LA Knight, ending his championship reign after 273 days.
Personal Life
In October 2015, Logan lived in an apartment complex in Hollywood, California, with other social media stars. This made it easy for them to work together on videos. In October 2017, Logan moved to a large home in Encino, California. In 2021, he announced he was moving to Dorado, Puerto Rico, mainly because of lower taxes there. By June 2021, he was living in a $13 million mansion.
Relationships
Logan Paul has dated several influencers and actresses. From 2016 to early 2017, he dated Amanda Cerny. He also had an on-and-off relationship with actress Chloe Bennet from 2017 to 2018. In 2020, he dated Josie Canseco.
In 2022, Logan started dating Danish model Nina Agdal. In July 2023, they announced their engagement. In April 2024, Logan shared that they were expecting their first child, a daughter, who was born in September 2024.
