Longden End Brook is a small river, also known as a watercourse, located in Greater Manchester, England. It is an important stream because it flows into Hollingworth Lake, which is a popular spot for visitors. The brook is the main source of water for the lake.
Journey of the Brook
Longden End Brook begins its journey high up near a place called Windy Hill. This area is part of the Pennines, a range of hills often called the "backbone of England."
As it flows, Longden End Brook travels through the beautiful Rakewood Valley. It then goes underneath the M62 motorway at a bridge called the Rakewood Viaduct. After this, the brook continues its path until it reaches Hollingworth Lake.
