Los Luchadores was a fun TV show from Canada and the United States. It aired on Fox Kids in 2001. The show was about a team of brave wrestlers who fought bad guys! It was made by Saban Entertainment and Shavick Entertainment. Today, Disney owns the rights to the show.
About the Show
This exciting series was all about a group of lucha libre wrestlers. They were led by a hero named Lobo Fuerte. Along with his friends Turbine, Maria Valentine, and Laurent, they protected Union City. Their main job was to stop different enemies, especially a clever villain called The Whelp. They also had to deal with the silly mistakes of Mayor Potts. The show's title, "Los Luchadores," means "The Wrestlers" or "The Fighters" in Spanish.
Meet the Characters

- Lobo Fuerte (played by Maximo Morrone) - He is the best masked wrestler in Union City. Lobo leads the Los Luchadores team in their fight against evil. His secret base is called the Wolf's Lair, located high up in the Lobo Tower.
- Turbine (played by Levi James) - Turbine is one of Lobo Fuerte's loyal sidekicks. He is known for riding a cool motorcycle.
- Maria Valentine (played by Sarah Carter) - Maria is another one of Lobo Fuerte's helpful sidekicks. She is always ready to join the fight.
- Laurent (played by Arthur Burghardt) - Laurent is the team's Jamaican trainer. He also provides all the technical support for the Los Luchadores.
The Villains

- The Whelp (voiced by Gary Lam) - The Whelp is a tiny Chihuahua dog named Cesar. He used to be the pet of a scientist. After a strange accident, he became an evil genius! - Whelpettes (played by Anita Brown and Sonya Salomaa) - These two women are the Whelp's loyal servants. They help him with his evil plans.
- Bone Warriors - These are the Whelp's minions. They wear skull masks and follow his commands.

- Mayor Potts (played by Dave Hurtubise) - He is the mayor of Union City. Mayor Potts means well, but he is often clumsy and causes funny problems.
- Gertrude (played by Nancy Robertson) - Gertrude is Mayor Potts' helpful assistant. She tries to keep things running smoothly.
