Loves Park is a city in Illinois, a state in the United States. It's mostly in Winnebago County, with a small part in Boone County. In 2020, about 23,397 people lived there. Loves Park is also part of the larger Rockford area.

History of Loves Park
Malcolm Love, a businessman from Rockford, Illinois, bought 236 acres of land here in 1901. He created a meeting spot that became known as Love's Park. The city of Loves Park officially became a city in 1947.
When the city's economy faced challenges in the early 1980s, City Hall moved to a different building to save money. In 2001, a company called Danfoss moved its factory to Loves Park. This made them one of the city's biggest employers.

Loves Park is located at coordinates 42°19′34″N 89°1′33″W / 42.32611°N 89.02583°W.
The city covers a total area of about 16.85 square miles (43.65 square kilometers). Most of this area, about 16.33 square miles (42.28 square kilometers), is land. The remaining 0.53 square miles (1.37 square kilometers) is water.
