Lucas Alves Lepri (born September 19, 1984) is a famous Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt. He is known for his amazing skills in this martial art.

Lucas Lepri has won many big competitions. He is a 9-time World Champion at the black belt level. He has won every major jiu-jitsu tournament. This includes the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship (both with and without the traditional uniform, called Gi and No-Gi). He also won the Pan American Championship, the European Championship, and the Brazilian National Jiu-Jitsu Championship. Because of his many wins, Lucas Lepri is now part of the IBJJF Hall of Fame. This means he is one of the best jiu-jitsu athletes ever!

Lucas Lepri's Journey in Jiu-Jitsu

Lucas Lepri was born on September 19, 1984, in Minas Gerais, Brazil. He started training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu when he was young. He worked very hard to learn the moves and techniques.

Earning His Black Belt

Lucas earned his black belt in late 2006. This is the highest rank in jiu-jitsu. His first teacher was Elan Santiago. After his first academy closed, Lucas trained at the Top Team academy. There, he learned from Fernando Terere. Later, he joined Elan Santiago again at the famous Alliance team.

Moving to the United States

In 2008, Lucas Lepri moved to the United States. He was asked to be a coach at the Alliance New York Academy. This was a big step in his career. Today, he lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. He continues to teach and train there.

Teaching Online

In 2017, Lucas Lepri started his own online academy. This means people from all over the world can learn from him. He shares his special techniques and knowledge with students online.
