Luciana Abreu Sodré Costa Real (born May 25, 1985) is a famous Portuguese singer, actress, and television host. She is well-known for competing in the TV show Idolos and for representing Portugal in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005. She also starred as the main character, Flor Valente, in the popular TV series Floribella.

Career Beginnings
First Steps in Performing
Luciana first gained public attention when she was 14 years old. She won a TV talent show called "Cantigas da Rua". In 2002, she acted and sang in a play called O Casamento. The next year, she had a main role as Beatriz in the musical Cabaret Carioca. This show was inspired by the music of the famous Brazilian artist Chico Buarque.
Competing on Idolos
In 2004, Luciana joined the second season of Idolos, which is the Portuguese version of the British show Pop Idol. She sang "The Voice Within" by Christina Aguilera in the semi-finals. Her performance was so good that it earned her a spot in the top 10 finalists.

Rise to Fame
Eurovision Song Contest 2005
Luciana represented Portugal in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005, held in Kyiv, Ukraine. She was part of a pop duo called 2B with singer Rui Drumond. They performed the song Amar.
During their live performance, they faced some technical problems, including issues with Luciana's microphone. The duo did not make it to the final round. However, they still received the highest score of 12 points from France, Germany, and Switzerland.
Starring in Floribella
After Eurovision, Luciana's career took a huge turn. She was chosen for the main role of Flor Valente in the TV show Floribella. The show was a modern version of the Cinderella story. It was about a kind, poor girl who falls in love with a wealthy young man.
Floribella became one of Portugal's most successful TV shows in 2006. Its soundtrack album was also a huge hit, reaching number one on the music charts. The show's popularity made Luciana a big star in Portugal.

Hosting and Other TV Shows
After Floribella, Luciana hosted a children's TV show called Lucy, where she sang and danced. She also won the third season of Dança Comigo, the Portuguese version of Dancing with the Stars.
