Luciano Grostein Huck, born on September 3, 1971, is a famous Brazilian TV host and businessman. For many years, from 2000 to 2021, he hosted the popular TV show Caldeirão do Huck. This show was on every Saturday on the Brazilian TV network TV Globo and was even shown in 114 other countries! In September 2021, Luciano started hosting a new show called Domingão com Huck on Sundays.
Besides his TV work, Luciano Huck also started a company called Joá Investments. This company helps new technology businesses grow, especially those that care about protecting the environment. Some of the businesses Joá helps include Cataratas, which focuses on travel that doesn't harm nature, and Tembici, a system for renting and parking bikes.

Early Life and First Steps in Media
Luciano Huck was born in São Paulo, Brazil. His father, Hermes Marcelo Huck, was a lawyer, and his mother, Marta Dora Grostein, was an urban planner. He also has a half-brother, Fernando Grostein Andrade, who is a film director. Luciano studied law at the University of São Paulo.
Before becoming famous on TV, Luciano worked as a trainee at advertising companies. He also opened a nightclub in São Paulo called Cabral.
His first job in media was in 1993, writing for the Jornal da Tarde newspaper. He wrote a daily section called "Circulando" (Circulating), which was about young people's lives and entertainment. He also started working on a radio show for Rádio Jovem Pan.
Luciano first appeared on TV in 1994 on a show called "Perfil" (Profile). When he was 24, his newspaper section "Circulando" became a TV show with the same name on the CNT Gazeta network.

Becoming a TV Star
In September 1996, Luciano Huck got his own show called Programa H on Rede Bandeirantes. He also hosted a radio show called Torpedo. By the time he was 27, he left his newspaper job to focus completely on Programa H.
Luciano joined the Globo network in September 1999, where he started hosting Caldeirão do Huck. This show was a mix of fun entertainment and charity work, helping people in need. On April 8, 2018, Caldeirão do Huck celebrated its eighteenth year on air, showing how popular it was!
In June 2021, it was announced that Luciano would move to Sunday evenings. He started a new show called Domingão com Huck on September 5, 2021, taking over a very popular time slot.
Helping Others and Public Service
Luciano Huck is also known for his work helping others. He founded and leads Instituto Criar, a non-profit group that helps young people. This organization teaches them how to make movies and helps them grow personally and professionally. Since it started in 2004, over 2000 young people have joined its programs.
He is also part of groups like Agora! and RenovaBR, which work to make Brazil a better place. There was even talk that Luciano might run for president in the 2018 Brazilian general election. However, he decided not to run, but he said he would keep talking about important topics for Brazil.
Personal Life
Luciano Huck is married to another famous Brazilian TV presenter, actress, and singer named Angélica Ksyvickis. They have three children: Joaquim, who was born on March 8, 2005; Benício, born on November 3, 2007; and Eva, born on September 25, 2012.

Awards and Recognition
Luciano Huck has won many awards for his work. He received the Prêmio Extra de Televisão award for Best TV Host for 8 years in a row, from 2006 to 2013! This award is similar to the People's Choice Awards.
His show, Caldeirão do Huck, also won the same award for Best Variety Show for 9 years, from 2003 to 2011. In 2007, a special part of his show called "Soletrando" (a spelling bee contest) also won an Outstanding Award.
