Lydia Victoria Night (born October 13, 2000) is an American musician. She is famous for being the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for the California rock band The Regrettes. She was also the lead singer for the bands Pretty Little Demons and LILA. She has also worked with the rock group Dead Man's Bones. Many people see her as an important voice in modern feminist punk music.

Early Life and Music Career
A Musical Start
Lydia Night was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her father is Morgan Higby Night. She started performing when she was only two years old. She would sing "Beat on the Brat" by the Ramones during soundchecks at her father's nightclub.
Later, her family moved to Los Angeles, California. When she was seven, she started her first band called LILA. The name stood for Little Independent Loving Artists. LILA played at school events and a local guitar shop.
Pretty Little Demons
In 2012, when she was 11, Lydia started a pop rock band called Pretty Little Demons with drummer Marlhy Murphy. A year later, they performed at the South by Southwest music festival. They were the youngest performers ever to play there.
Their performance got the attention of actor Ryan Gosling. He asked Lydia to join his band, Dead Man's Bones, for some performances. In 2013, Pretty Little Demons released an EP called Flowers. Their album Unknown Species came out in 2014.
The Regrettes
In 2015, Pretty Little Demons changed its name to The Regrettes. The band released an EP called Hey! that year. Soon after, the band's lineup changed. Genessa Gariano, Sage Chavis, and Maxx Morando joined Lydia to form the new version of The Regrettes.
With this new lineup, the band released its first album, Feel Your Feelings Fool!, in 2017. They followed it up with the Attention Seeker EP in 2018.
In 2019, the band announced their second album, How Do You Love?. In December 2023, The Regrettes announced they were breaking up. They played a few final shows in Los Angeles to say goodbye to their fans.
Solo Career
In January 2025, Lydia started a YouTube vlog called "Pop or Flop." The series showed her journey to becoming a pop star. She released her first solo single, "Pity Party," on her YouTube channel on April 4, 2025.
Musical Style and Influences
Lydia Night's music is often described as punk rock and indie rock. She has said that she is inspired by many artists from the past. Some of her influences include The Crystals, Lesley Gore, and Patsy Cline. She also looks up to punk bands like Bikini Kill and L7.
Personal Life
In 2014, Night began studying at the Grand Arts High School in Los Angeles.
From 2018 to 2022, she was in a relationship with actor and musician Dylan Minnette, who is in the band Wallows.
