The MTN Elite One is the top professional association football league in Cameroon. It's like the main soccer championship for clubs in Cameroon. The league started in 1961 and is managed by the Cameroonian Football Federation. Since 2007, it has been called MTN Elite One because of a sponsorship deal with MTN.
