Mack Brown was born on September 24, 1991. He is a former American football player who was a running back. He played college football for the Florida Gators. After college, he joined the Houston Texans in 2015. He also played for the Minnesota Vikings.

Mack Brown grew up in Lithonia, Georgia. He played high school football at Martin Luther King Jr. High School.
College Football Career
Brown played college football for the Florida Gators from 2010 to 2014. He played in 49 games during his time there.
Early Years at Florida
In 2010, he played in two games. He ran for 23 yards. In 2011, he played in four games. He gained 42 rushing yards. In 2012, he played in nine games. He ran for 102 yards.
Expanding Role in 2013
His role in the team grew in 2013. In the first game against Toledo, he ran for 112 yards. He also scored two touchdowns. For the whole 2013 season, he played in 12 games. He ran for 548 yards and scored four touchdowns.
Final College Season
In 2014, his last year, he played in seven games. He ran for 95 yards. Overall, during his college career, he gained 805 rushing yards. He also helped the Gators' special teams.

After college, Mack Brown tried out for professional teams.
Houston Texans
On May 11, 2015, Brown signed with the Houston Texans. He was later released by the Texans on June 2, 2015.
Washington Redskins
Brown then signed with the Washington Redskins on July 25, 2015. He was released and re-signed to their practice squad a few times. On January 11, 2016, he signed a futures contract with the Redskins.
2016 Preseason Success
In the 2016 preseason, Brown was a top rusher. He led the league with 227 yards. In a game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he ran for 149 yards. This included an amazing 60-yard touchdown run.
First NFL Touchdown
Even with a great preseason, he was released. But he was quickly signed to the practice squad. On October 28, 2016, he joined the main team. In a game against the Chicago Bears, he got his first carries as a running back. He ran for 82 yards. This included a 61-yard touchdown run, his first in the NFL!
On October 28, 2017, the Redskins waived Brown. He had played in three regular season games that year.
Minnesota Vikings
On October 30, 2017, the Minnesota Vikings picked up Brown. He played in one game for the Vikings in 2017. That year, between both teams, he had 29 rushing yards and one catch for 11 yards.
In 2018, the Vikings waived Brown due to an injury.
Second Time with Washington Redskins
On October 2, 2018, Brown joined the Washington Redskins' practice squad again. He was released on November 13, 2018.
Oakland Raiders
On August 3, 2019, Brown signed with the Oakland Raiders. He was waived before the final team rosters were set on August 30, 2019.
Tampa Bay Vipers
Brown then signed with the Tampa Bay Vipers of the XFL on January 9, 2020. He was waived by the Vipers on February 18, 2020.
