Madagascar (2005 movie) facts for kids

Madagascar is a fun computer-animated movie from 2005. It was made by DreamWorks Animation. The story follows a group of animal friends who live in the zoo in Central Park, New York City.

The main characters are Alex the Lion (Ben Stiller), Marty the Zebra (Chris Rock), Melman the Giraffe (David Schwimmer), and Gloria the Hippopotamus (Jada Pinkett Smith). It also inspired a Christmas special, a TV show, and a movie about the penguins.

About the Movie Madagascar

King Julien is the self-proclaimed king of the lemurs. He loves to party and is very confident. His loyal advisor is Maurice, and there's also the tiny, adorable Mort.

The movie shows the challenges and funny moments as the zoo animals try to adapt to their new, wild home. They learn about friendship, courage, and what it truly means to be wild.
