Christopher James Miller (born August 9, 1965) is a former American football player. He was a talented quarterback who played in the NFL. Chris was born in Pomona, California.
He was chosen by the Atlanta Falcons in the first round of the 1987 NFL Draft. This meant he was the 13th player picked overall that year. Chris played for several teams during his career.

Chris Miller's Football Journey
Chris Miller started his professional football career with the Atlanta Falcons. He played for them from 1987 to 1993. As a quarterback, his job was to lead the team's offense. He would throw the ball to his teammates or hand it off for running plays.
After his time with the Falcons, Chris played for the St. Louis Rams. He was with them for two seasons, from 1994 to 1995.
Challenges and Retirement
During his career, Chris faced some tough challenges. He had several concussions, which are injuries to the head. These injuries made it difficult for him to keep playing. In 1995, after having five concussions in 14 months, he decided to leave the NFL.
However, Chris made a comeback in 1999. He joined the Denver Broncos. Sadly, he got another concussion that year. This led him to decide to retire from playing football for good.

Even after retiring as a player, Chris Miller stayed involved with football. He became a coach. He worked as a quarterback coach for the Arizona Cardinals. He started coaching with them in 2009.
