Malcolm Miller (born March 6, 1993) is an American professional basketball player. He currently plays for the Taipei Taishin Mars in the Taiwan Professional Basketball League (TPBL). Before becoming a professional, he played college basketball for the Holy Cross Crusaders.
Miller also played in the NBA for the Toronto Raptors. He helped the Raptors win an NBA championship in 2019.

Malcolm Miller's Early Basketball Journey
High School Years
Malcolm Miller went to Gaithersburg High School. He was the team captain during his junior and senior years. In his senior year, he averaged 13.1 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. He also had 2.8 assists, 2.6 blocks, and 1.4 steals per game. These great stats earned him first-team All-Gazette honors.
College Career at Holy Cross
Miller played basketball for four years at Holy Cross. During his time there, he scored a total of 1,013 points. He also grabbed 532 rebounds, made 164 assists, and blocked 143 shots. He ranks third all-time in blocked shots for his college team.
In his senior year, Miller averaged 14.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. He was also good at blocking shots and stealing the ball. He was one of the top players in the Patriot League for blocked shots and free throw percentage. He scored in double figures in 25 games that year.
Malcolm Miller's Professional Basketball Career
Starting in the NBA G League (2015–2016)
After college, Malcolm Miller was not chosen in the 2015 NBA draft. However, he joined the Boston Celtics for the 2015 NBA Summer League. He later signed with the Celtics but was waived before the season started. On October 31, 2015, he joined the Maine Red Claws. This team is part of the NBA Development League, which is like a minor league for the NBA.
Playing in Germany (2016–2017)
In July 2016, Miller moved to Germany to play for Alba Berlin. This team competes in the German Bundesliga and the EuroCup.
Time with the Toronto Raptors (2017–2020)
For the 2017–18 season, Miller signed with the Toronto Raptors of the NBA. He was one of the first players to get a "two-way contract." This meant he could play for both the Raptors and their G-League team, Raptors 905. He played in 15 NBA games for the Raptors that season.
In February 2019, Miller officially joined the Raptors' main roster. That season, he played in 10 playoff games. He helped the Raptors win the 2019 NBA Finals by defeating the Golden State Warriors. This was a huge achievement, making him an NBA champion. In the 2019–20 season, Miller played in 28 games for the Raptors.
Moving to the Salt Lake City Stars (2021)
In December 2020, Miller signed with the Utah Jazz. After training camp, he was waived but then joined their G League team, the Salt Lake City Stars.
Playing in Italy (2021–2022)
In August 2021, Miller signed with Vanoli Cremona in Italy's Lega Basket Serie A (LBA). He averaged 9.3 points per game before leaving the team in January 2022.
Return to Raptors 905 (2022–2023)
In December 2022, Miller was traded back to the Raptors 905.
Playing in France (2023)
In January 2023, he signed with Limoges CSP in France's LNB Pro A league.
Current Team: Taipei Taishin Mars (2024-Present)
On September 7, 2024, Miller signed with the Taipei Taishin Mars in the Taiwan Professional Basketball League (TPBL). On June 2, 2025, he was chosen for the All-Defensive Second Team in the 2024–25 TPBL season. This shows he is a strong defensive player.

Malcolm Miller's Personal Life
Malcolm Miller is the son of Robert and Sheila Miller. He has one brother and two sisters. His sister, Janell Thomas, also played college basketball at North Carolina Central. In June 2021, Miller married his longtime girlfriend, Dana. They welcomed their daughter in October 2021.
