Malik Henry (born April 16, 1997) is an American professional football player. He plays as a wide receiver for the Calgary Stampeders in the Canadian Football League (CFL). Before joining the CFL, he played college football at West Georgia. Henry was also part of teams in the NFL, including the San Francisco 49ers, Indianapolis Colts, and New Orleans Saints.

Playing College Football
Malik Henry started his college football journey at Georgia Southern. He played there for three years, from 2015 to 2017. During this time, he caught 23 passes for 344 yards and scored one touchdown. He also returned kickoffs, gaining 382 yards.
After his third year, he moved to the University of West Georgia. In his final college season (2018) at West Georgia, he was a top player. He led his team with seven receiving touchdowns. He was also second on the team in catches (30) and receiving yards (407).
Professional Football Career
After college, Malik Henry began his professional football career. He joined several teams in the NFL before moving to the CFL.
San Francisco 49ers
Malik Henry was not chosen in the 2019 NFL draft. However, the San Francisco 49ers signed him as a free agent on May 3, 2019. He was later released by the team on August 31, 2019. The next day, he was signed to their practice squad. He was released from the practice squad on October 16, 2019.
Indianapolis Colts
On December 3, 2019, Henry joined the Indianapolis Colts practice squad. He signed a special contract with the Colts on December 30, 2019. On July 27, 2020, Henry was placed on a special list by the Colts. He was later taken off the list and then released on August 12, 2020.
New Orleans Saints
Malik Henry was signed to the New Orleans Saints practice squad on September 30, 2020. He was released from the team shortly after, on October 10, 2020.
Calgary Stampeders
Henry signed with the Calgary Stampeders of the CFL on January 25, 2021. In his first year with the team, he played in nine games. He caught 11 passes for 124 yards and scored two touchdowns.
His second year in the CFL, 2022, was a big success. He played in 13 games and caught 62 passes for 1,023 yards. He also scored eight touchdowns. Because of his great performance, he signed a new three-year contract on October 5, 2022.
Henry started the 2023 season strong. He caught 14 passes for 228 yards and one touchdown in the first three games. However, he got a serious injury to his Achilles tendon in the third game. This injury meant he missed the rest of the season.
After getting healthy for the start of the 2024 season, Henry faced another setback. He injured his patellar tendon during practice on May 28, 2024. This happened after the team's first preseason game. The Stampeders announced that he would need surgery and miss the rest of the 2024 season.
