Malone's Location and Size
Malone is found in the eastern part of Hill County, right in Central Texas. A main road, Texas State Highway 171, goes through the middle of the town.
This highway connects Malone to other nearby places. If you travel northwest about 16 miles (26 km), you'll reach Hillsboro. Hillsboro is the main city, or county seat, for Hill County. If you go southeast about 7 miles (11 km), you'll find Hubbard.
The United States Census Bureau says that Malone covers a total area of about 0.46 square miles (1.2 square kilometers). Most of this area is land, with a very small part (less than 1%) being water.
