Manistique Lake is a large and beautiful lake in the Upper Peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan. People often call it Big Manistique Lake to tell it apart from other nearby lakes. It covers about 10,130-acre (4,100 ha) of water.

This lake is quite big, stretching about 6.5 miles (10.5 km) long and 4 miles (6.4 km) wide. It is one of the largest lakes you'll find in the Upper Peninsula. Manistique Lake is not very deep; its deepest spot is only 20 feet (6.1 m), and its average depth is 10 feet (3.0 m). Water from the lake flows into the Manistique River from its west side.

The small town of Curtis, Michigan is built on a narrow strip of land. This land separates Manistique Lake from South Manistique Lake, which is just to the south.
