Manny Wilkins Jr. (born November 5, 1995) is an American professional football quarterback. He plays for the St. Louis Battlehawks in the United Football League (UFL). Before turning pro, he played college football at Arizona State University.
After college, Manny joined the Green Bay Packers in 2019. He later moved to the St. Louis Battlehawks in 2023. He has been a starting quarterback for the Battlehawks.

Early Life and High School Football
Manny Wilkins was born on November 5, 1995. When he was 10 years old, his father passed away. In 2008, Manny moved to Texas with his mother. There, he played football at Elkins High School.
Later, he moved back to California to live with his aunt and uncle. He became the starting quarterback at San Marin High School in Novato, California. Even at 16, people could see he was a very talented player.
College Football Journey
Manny Wilkins was a highly-rated quarterback when he joined Arizona State. He spent his first year learning and practicing, which is called "redshirting." In his second year, he played in only a few games.
By his third year, Manny became the main starting quarterback for Arizona State. He played very well, throwing for many yards and touchdowns.
- In 2016, as a sophomore, he started 10 games. He threw for 2,329 yards and 12 touchdowns. He also ran for 246 yards and 5 touchdowns.
- In 2017, as a junior, he started all 13 games. He threw for 3,270 yards and 20 touchdowns. He also ran for 282 yards and 7 touchdowns.
- In 2018, as a senior, he started all 13 games again. He threw for 3,025 yards and 20 touchdowns. He also had a great year running, gaining 452 yards and scoring 8 touchdowns.
Manny had a successful college career, showing he was a strong player who could both throw and run the ball.
Professional Football Career
After college, Manny Wilkins hoped to join an NFL team.
Green Bay Packers
Manny signed with the Green Bay Packers in May 2019. He was a "free agent," meaning no team had drafted him. He spent time on their practice squad, which is a group of players who train with the team. They can be called up to play if needed. He signed a future contract with the Packers in January 2020. However, he was released by the team in April 2020.
St. Louis Battlehawks
After a few years away from professional football, Manny Wilkins signed with the St. Louis Battlehawks in February 2023. At that time, the Battlehawks were part of the XFL. He re-signed with the team in February 2024.
In the 2024 season, Manny was the second-string quarterback. This means he was ready to play if the main quarterback, AJ McCarron, couldn't. Manny played in five games that year. He even started two games when McCarron was injured.
In December 2024, Manny re-signed with the Battlehawks again. The team is now part of the UFL. He started the 2025 season as the main quarterback. However, in Week 4, he suffered a serious injury to his Achilles heel. This injury ended his season.
