MarJon Beauchamp (pronounced MAR-zhon BOH-champ; born October 12, 2000) is an American professional basketball player. He last played for the New York Knicks in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Before turning pro, he played college basketball for the Yakima Valley Yaks.

MarJon's High School Journey
MarJon Beauchamp moved from his hometown of Yakima, Washington, to Seattle to play basketball. He wanted to play against tougher teams and improve his skills.
Starting Strong at Nathan Hale
As a freshman, MarJon joined Nathan Hale High School. The team was coached by former NBA player Brandon Roy. They had amazing players like Michael Porter Jr. and Jontay Porter. Nathan Hale had a perfect season, winning all 29 games. They also won the state championship and were ranked the number one team in the country!
Winning More Titles at Garfield
For his sophomore year, MarJon moved to Garfield High School in Seattle. Coach Brandon Roy and teammate P. J. Fuller also moved there. MarJon helped Garfield win their second straight state championship. They also made it to the quarterfinals of the High School Nationals tournament.
Shining at Rainier Beach
MarJon transferred to Rainier Beach High School for his junior season. He quickly became a star player. He led Rainier Beach to win their league and district titles. MarJon was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Seattle 3A Metro League. He averaged 26 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists per game. He was recognized as one of the best players in Washington state.
Finishing High School at Dream City Christian
For his final year, MarJon moved to Dream City Christian School in Glendale, Arizona. This school had a new basketball program. After finishing his high school basketball career, he returned to Yakima to graduate from Eisenhower High School.
College Basketball Experience
After high school, MarJon trained hard to get ready for the NBA draft. He later decided to play college basketball.
Playing for Yakima Valley College
In March 2021, MarJon joined the basketball team at Yakima Valley College in his hometown. He was friends with some of the players there. In his first college game, he scored nine points and grabbed nine rebounds.
MarJon had an amazing game on June 1, 2021. He scored a career-high 50 points and had 11 rebounds! This was in an overtime game against Treasure Valley. As a freshman, MarJon averaged 30.7 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game. He led the entire Northwest Athletic Conference in scoring. Even though big universities wanted him, he chose not to go to a Division I school.

NBA G League Ignite (2021–2022)
On September 23, 2021, MarJon signed with the NBA G League Ignite. This team helps young players get ready for the NBA. He played well, averaging 15.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.
Milwaukee Bucks (2022–2025)
The Milwaukee Bucks picked MarJon Beauchamp as the 24th player in the 2022 NBA draft on June 23, 2022. He joined the Bucks for the NBA Summer League. In his first Summer League game, he scored 16 points.
On July 7, 2022, MarJon signed his first professional contract with the Bucks. He set a career high on November 9, 2022, scoring 19 points and grabbing 8 rebounds in a win against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Just a few days later, on November 14, he scored a new career high of 20 points against the Atlanta Hawks.
MarJon also played for the Wisconsin Herd, which is the Bucks' team in the NBA G League. On January 24, 2024, he scored 36 points in a game for the Herd!
Los Angeles Clippers (2025)
On February 6, 2025, MarJon was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers. He played a few games for them before being waived on March 1, 2025.
New York Knicks (2025)
On March 4, 2025, MarJon Beauchamp signed a contract with the New York Knicks. This was a "two-way contract," which means he could play for both the Knicks and their G-League team.

MarJon's Family and Background
MarJon Beauchamp is a Christian. His father, Jon, also played college basketball for Eastern Washington and Highline College. MarJon's father works in customer relations in Bellevue, Washington.
MarJon is of Native American descent. He is part of the Mission Indians and La Jolla Band of Luiseño Indians. His grandfather, Henry Beauchamp, was the first African-American mayor of Yakima.
