Marcus James Jordan (born December 24, 1990) is an American who used to play college basketball. He played for the UCF Knights men's basketball team. Marcus is the second oldest child of the famous Hall of Fame basketball player, Michael Jordan.

Marcus Jordan's Life and Career
Early Life and Family
Marcus Jordan was born on December 24, 1990. His parents are Michael Jordan and Juanita Vanoy. He grew up in Highland Park, Illinois.
Marcus has an older brother named Jeffrey. He also has a younger sister named Jasmine. Later, through his father's second marriage, he gained twin half-sisters, Ysabel and Victoria.
High School Basketball Journey
Marcus started playing high school basketball with his older brother, Jeffrey. They played at Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Illinois. In Marcus's second year, they helped their school win the conference championship. This was the best season in the school's history.
Later, Marcus moved to Whitney Young Magnet High School in Chicago. He played there for his junior and senior years. In 2009, he led the Whitney Young Dolphins to win the Illinois 4A Championship. He scored 19 points in the final game. Marcus was also named the most valuable player of the state tournament.
When he graduated in 2009, ESPNU ranked Marcus as the 60th best high school shooting guard in the country. He averaged 10.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game.
College Basketball Years
After high school, Marcus played college basketball. He attended the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando, Florida.
During his first year, UCF had a sponsorship deal with Adidas. However, Marcus chose to wear Nike Air Jordan shoes. He did this because of his loyalty to his father's brand. This decision led Adidas to end its sponsorship deal with UCF.
In his freshman year (2009–10), Marcus scored 8.0 points per game. Throughout his college career, he scored a total of 1,152 points.
On November 12, 2010, Marcus had a great game. He scored a career-high 28 points against the University of West Florida. He also helped UCF upset the number-16 ranked Florida team. He scored 18 points in that important game on December 1, 2010.
In August 2012, Marcus left the UCF basketball team. His brother, Jeffrey, had also left the team earlier that year. Marcus continued to take classes at UCF. He graduated in 2013 from The Rosen College of Hospitality Management. He earned a bachelor’s degree.
Beyond Basketball
After his basketball career, Marcus explored other interests. In May 2016, he opened a fancy sneaker store. It was called "Trophy Room." The store was located in the Disney Springs area of Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
Three years later, the physical store closed. The business then moved to selling sneakers only online.
In September 2023, it was announced that Marcus would be on a TV show. He became a contestant on the second season of The Traitors. This show streams on Peacock.
