Margarita Levieva is an American actress known for her roles in popular television shows and movies. She was born in Russia and moved to the United States when she was a child, later becoming a successful actress in Hollywood.

Early Life and Education
Margarita Levieva was born in Leningrad, which was part of the Soviet Union at the time. Today, the city is known as Saint Petersburg, Russia. Her family has a powerful history; both of her grandmothers survived the Siege of Leningrad during World War II, a time when the city was surrounded by enemy forces.
When she was just three years old, Margarita began training in rhythmic gymnastics. At age 11, she moved to the United States with her mother and twin brother. They settled in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, a neighborhood in New York City.
Even though she was accepted into a special high school for dance, she chose to go to a public high school in Secaucus, New Jersey. After high school, she attended New York University (NYU). She was a dedicated student and graduated a year early with a degree in economics and psychology.
Acting Career
First Roles on Screen
Margarita began her acting career in 2005 with a guest appearance on the TV show Law & Order: Trial by Jury. Soon after, she landed a main role in the Fox series Vanished. She also appeared in several movies, including The Invisible and Adventureland.
In 2009, she acted in the NBC drama Kings and appeared on Broadway in a play called Impressionism. She also had a role in the HBO comedy-drama series How to Make it in America.
Major Television Roles
From 2011 to 2015, Margarita played a key recurring character in the popular ABC drama series Revenge. She played Amanda Clarke, a woman with a mysterious past.
Later, from 2016 to 2019, she starred in the HBO series The Deuce. In this show, she played Abby Parker, an adventurous college student who gets involved in the changing world of New York City in the 1970s and 1980s.
Recent and Current Projects
In 2022, Margarita starred as Jenny Franklin in the Netflix series In From the Cold. Her character is a single mom whose past as a Russian spy with special abilities comes back to haunt her during a family vacation.
In 2024, she joined the Star Wars universe, playing Mother Koril in the series The Acolyte. In 2025, she joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the series Daredevil: Born Again. In the show, she plays Heather Glenn, a love interest of the hero Matt Murdock, also known as Daredevil.
Personal Life
Margarita Levieva has a son, who was born in 2022. She enjoys keeping her personal life private while continuing her successful acting career.
