Margo Lomax Davidson (born September 27, 1962) is a former member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. She represented the 164th Legislative District as a Democrat. Her time in office was from 2011 until she left her position in July 2021. The district she represented included parts of Upper Darby Township, and the towns of East Lansdowne and Millbourne.

Early Life and Education
Margo Davidson was the oldest of three children. She grew up in West Philadelphia with her mother and siblings. In 1980, she graduated from the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts.
She was the first person in her family to go to college. She earned a degree in Communications from Temple University in 1988.
Career Highlights
Margo Davidson started her career as a journalist. She hosted a show on WDAS radio, where she often reported on politics.
She also created two non-profit organizations. One was called the Anti-drug and Alcohol Crusaders. This group helped children whose parents were dealing with addiction. The other was the African American Female Entrepreneurs Alliance. This organization focused on helping small businesses grow.
In 2008, she worked on Barack Obama's presidential campaign. She traveled to many places, including Montana, to help with the campaign.
Serving in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives
Margo Davidson decided to run for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. This happened after the long-serving Republican representative, Mario Civera, was elected to the Delaware County Council.
When Civera left his state House seat, Davidson ran for the position. She won the election against Maureen Carey. Margo Davidson was only the third person to hold this seat. She was also the first Democrat, the first woman, and the first African American to represent the 164th district. She officially started her role on January 4, 2011.
