Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story is a game for the Nintendo DS released in 2009. It is the third game in the Mario & Luigi series, after Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga for the Game Boy Advance and Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time also released for the Nintendo DS. Unlike the previous installments, this game was not rereleased for the Wii U's Virtual Console. The game was remade for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan in December 2018 and worldwide in January 2019 titled Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey. This is the second Mario & Luigi series after Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga to have a remake.
