How to Play Mario Party 6
Mario Party 6 works much like other games in the Mario Party series. Players move around different game boards. Their goal is to collect coins. They can then use these coins to buy stars.
Moving Around the Board
To move, players roll a special dice block. This block has numbers from one to ten. After everyone has taken their turn, a mini-game begins. The player who wins the mini-game gets extra coins. The main goal is to have the most stars when the game ends. That player becomes the winner!
Day and Night Changes
In multiplayer games, something cool happens. The sun will rise and fall every three turns. This means the game board changes! Spaces might move, new characters could appear, and even the mini-games can change. This keeps the game exciting and fresh.
Characters and Boards
Mario Party 6 has six different game boards to explore. One of these boards needs to be unlocked as you play. You can choose from 11 different characters to play as. One character, Toadette, makes her first appearance as a playable character in a Mario Party game in this version.
